Tom Ayars, President
Tom Ayars serves as President of Seanic Ocean Systems and has 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in senior management and business development roles involving inland and coastal marine construction, offshore pipelines, subsea tooling, and ROVs. Prior to joining Seanic, Mr. Ayars was the division president of American Oilfield Divers and built a $40 million inland diving and construction group during his time there.
Andy Guinn, Vice President of Operations
Andy Guinn has served as Seanic's Vice President of Operations since its founding in 2007. Mr. Guinn came to Seanic after eight years at Oceaneering, where he began as a senior tooling technician and then advanced to a management position that allowed him to contribute to the development of Oceaneering’s standard product line. He was also responsible for managing the Eastern Regions of Oceaneering’s Deepwater Technical Solutions group based out of Aberdeen, Scotland. Prior to joining Oceaneering in 1999, Mr. Guinn worked as a tooling technician for Saipem and served eight years in the United States Air Force.
Matt York, Manager of Technology and Engineered Solutions
Matt York joined Seanic in 2007 and has been instrumental in the design of Seanic’s standard ROV tooling product line. Over the years he helped build Seanic’s engineering team while serving as the Manager of Technology and Engineered Solutions. Prior to joining Seanic, he served as Chief Mechanical Designer for a government contractor. Mr. York also has broad range of expertise covering such industries as nuclear waste, flight simulation, and fiber optics.
Todd Holtz, Manager for Development of Standard Products
Todd Holtz has served as the Manager for Development of Standard Products since 2014 and is responsible for sustaining development and management of Seanic’s standard product lines. Mr. Holtz came to Seanic after 16 years at Oceaneering where he worked with intervention tooling and advanced technologies. Prior to his time at Oceaneering, Mr. Holtz served as a machinist supporting nuclear submarines for the US Navy, and as an ROV technician for Saipem. Mr. Holtz holds three patents and has developed countless ROV intervention tools, work and observation class ROV components, and systems.
