Seanic Announces the Class 1-4 Smart Torque Tool

Houston, Texas- Seanic has announced the delivery of two Class 1-4 Smart Torque Tools to their international rental partner, Ashtead Technology. Seanic is scheduled to deliver additional units to them early this summer.

The units will be available to rent exclusively through Ashtead Technology’s bases in Singapore and Aberdeen and agents in Norway, the UAE and Australia as well as Seanic’s US office.

Andy Guinn, Vice President of Seanic said, “The design of the digital display provides an accurate real-time torque and turns subsea as well as on the surface.  The tool can be used in a closed or open loop and its unique load cell design delivers exceptional accuracy.  Although the technology has advanced, the tool retains the rugged features of its predecessor.  We preserved the popular mechanical counter as a backup to retain our simple, rugged and reliable design.”
