Seanic ‘s GL4 Regan Latch release tool is manipulator deployed and allows an ROV to mechanically attach to the top of the guidepost. It then hydraulically compresses the latching mechanism making it possible to remove the guidepost for retrieval to the surface on the guide wires provided. The GL4 hydraulic supply can be plumbed directly to the ROV or use a hot stab attachment.
