Seanic recently designed, built and deployed a Subsea Torque Test Jig for use in verifying torque tool readings subsea. The tool can also be used on the surface in place of a normal Torque Tool Test Jig making it a versatile 2-in-1 piece of equipment. The Subsea Torque Test Jig readily attaches to the ROV Cage or TMS allowing for a quick and easy assessment of your torque output when making adjustments to the tool without having to return to the surface. An added benefit of this design is that it is purely hydro-mechanical so there are no batteries to fail, electrical housings to flood or wires to break. It was designed with our slogan of “Simple, Rugged and Reliable” in mind.
