| Seanic Ocean Systems’ Class V Torque Tool Adapter |
|
Houston, Texas- Seanic Ocean Systems is pleased to announce the delivery of another API 17D Class V adapter for use in all Class V interfaces. The adapters design is ideally suited for any subsea application that requires 2000-5000ft-lbs of torque. The Class V adapter has both latching and non-latching configurations that are available in the design. Andy Guinn, VP of Operations said “Class V adapters are typically used in pipeline valve operations and since the Class V adapter does not require an electric or hydraulic interface, it can be left in place while the Class IV Torque Tool completes additional tasks. This design clearly increases bottom time productivity and saves the customer money.” |
